Who We Are

  • Our services help protect your family while providing peace of mind. We do this through simple, understandable, flat-fee estate planning performed by experienced and trustworthy attorneys. No surprises, no jargon, zero pressure. We establish generational relationships with our clients. You’re not just a transaction to us. This is where we stand apart from other law firms.

  • Stewardship. Preparedness. Responsibility. Integrity. Family values are not just for Sundays; they are our core principles. It’s who we are and who we strive to be.

  • We never sought out to have our own law firm. Being disappointed in how some others practiced law helped us see that it could be done better. Much better. And that practicing law doesn’t mean we had to leave our values at home. What began as an experiment to provide high quality estate planning services while honoring our values has blossomed and resonated with our clients.

What sets us apart isn’t just our process—it’s the intention behind it. We take the time to understand, explain, and simplify at every turn. And to treat you and your family’s legacy with the care and importance it deserves.

Our Estate Plans: Flat-Fee Pricing

  • Estate Planning- Will-based Plan

    Will-based Plan

A Will is a legal document that goes into effect upon your death. It provides for the distribution of your property, names your heirs, appoints a guardian for your children, and names an executor/personal representative. A will is very effective at transferring your property, but does have some limitations.

Wills tend to be a bit less expensive than trusts to establish, but they usually require a probate proceeding, which can take a lot of time, effort, and money.

  • Estate Planning- Trust-based Plan

    Trust-based Plan

A Trust is a legal document that is effective as soon as you sign and fund it. Think of it like a legal bucket which owns property for you, but you still get to control, use, and enjoy the property. It performs all the basic functions of a will, but Trusts do it much better! A Trust can put conditions or terms on the distribution of your property, which may be helpful for family members who are minors, disabled, or have other concerns. Trusts require more effort to draft, but because property in a trust generally bypasses probate, it can save tens of thousands of dollars.

  • Landscape of snow-capped mountains in the background with rolling grassy hills and a small building in the foreground.

    Drafting & Review

    Signing & Funding

After your estate planning documents are exactly as you’d like them, we’ll get together to sign, notarize, and compile your legacy plan into a small, understandable binder, complete with a description of what each document does and what they’re for. For trust-based plans, we’ll also ensure that your new trust is funded.
